Opioid addiction is a prevalent issue across the United States. The numbers of opioid-related deaths are climbing, according to the California Department of Health. In 2021, for example, there were 71,000 opioid-related overdoses, and 7,000 were in California. From 2017 to 2021, the death rate due to opioid overdose jumped from 251 to 743 in
