In most cases, yes. Federal law requires most health plans to cover substance use and mental health treatment on the same terms as medical care, and addiction treatment is an essential health benefit under the Affordable Care Act. That generally includes outpatient programs like PHP and IOP, as well as dual diagnosis care.

Our approach
Therapy and counseling are the foundation of every treatment plan at Zoe: individual therapy with a licensed clinician, group therapy and family therapy. Where clinically appropriate, we add medication-assisted treatment with FDA-approved medications such as buprenorphine (Suboxone) or naltrexone.
Specialized tracks include couples rehab with behavioral couples therapy and a non-12-step option. Every plan ends with relapse-prevention and aftercare planning, including referrals to sober living.

Mental health
You don't have to be struggling with addiction to get help at Zoe. We offer standalone outpatient mental health treatment for adults dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and other conditions that are getting in the way of daily life.
Care follows the same outpatient model as our addiction programs: individualized treatment, one-on-one therapy and structured support while you live at home. If substance use is part of the picture too, our dual diagnosis program treats both together.

Outpatient rehab combines individual therapy, group therapy, medical and psychiatric care, and relapse-prevention planning on a set weekly schedule. You attend treatment at the center and then go home. At Zoe, care is delivered across three levels: PHP, IOP and standard outpatient.
At Zoe, partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs typically last about 90 days. Many people then step down to standard outpatient care. Your length of stay depends on your progress and your treatment plan.
Inpatient (residential) rehab means living at the facility full time. Outpatient rehab means attending treatment during the day and sleeping at home or in sober living. Zoe is an outpatient program. If your assessment shows you need detox or residential care first, we’ll help coordinate it.
Sometimes. If you’re physically dependent on alcohol, opioids or benzodiazepines, medically supervised detox usually comes first. Zoe doesn’t provide detox on-site, but we coordinate with trusted detox providers and bring you into our program afterward.
